A UPCer born and raised, Becca Arrowsmith is the new Director of the Inn at WSU. The Cougs need a good college ministry too I guess.
“As I made my way through UW’s Master’s in Social Work program, I found that I loved the coursework but felt something was missing. Where was the connection between social work and my faith? I wanted to go deeper.”
The church year did not suddenly appear in its current form. It’s like a huge oak tree which gradually grew from a small shoot, developing new branches, some of which were pruned, then grew in new directions until finally, centuries later, the liturgical calendar became what it is today.
Sometimes it takes a trip to Scotland to learn what God means when he says, “Love your neighbor.”
